Mission
We are a united body of believers, empowered by the Holy Spirit and committed to God's kingdom through ministry and genuine Christian Fellowship. Our desire is to strengthen our current ministries and expand them into new location services. ​We also seek to apply Christ-like approaches to caring for the lost underserved while making a significant spiritual, physical, and financial investment into the community that God has entrusted to us.
Vision
Rev. Edward Lee Sivells, Sr. founded The Breaking of Day Ministries Church in Virginia Beach, VA in February of 2004. The Breaking of Day, a non-denominational church, is dedicated to celebrating our faith and extending hope across the community through active engagement in our missions and ministries. As a congregation of believers, we worship Jesus Christ by embracing His love, declaring salvation in His name, and serving His love among ourselves, our community, and the world. We welcome you to join us in celebrating God's love through active fellowship and spreading hope within our community and beyond.
